I see what you're saying... I think he gets overlooked due to the age of the movie but he was great as ZOD
he brang a regal & menacing quality to the character
I don't have much knowledge of supes rogues gallery but to me after the movie he's at the top

Yeah, he was Zod to me after that movie. Just awesome. (To be fair, he had a character that was pretty ill-defined, as opposed to a very famous and specific character like Joker.)

You're right but he made it his....
remember he had to follow hackman's performance of luthor which i though was great as well
(especially when you compare it to spacey's)
Superman II is still the best film out of the bunch & General Zod was the main reason why
