He would be in my top 10. As a teenager, I always enjoyed watching:

Bret Hart, Undertaker, Randy Savage, Ricky Steamboat, Tha Rock, Chris Benoit, Jeff Hardy, The Acolytes (team - count as one), Legion of Doom (team - count as one), Dudley Bros (team - count as one). Then again, I wasn't a hardcore fan. By my choices, clearly I watched during a certain era.

I generally found watching matches with Hogan, Flair, Piper, Austin and a number of the other veterans to be so so.

Randy's actual talent has been overlooked by some people due to his gimmick. Truth his, he was always a damn solid worker. There's a reason a lot of wrestlers rate Savage vs. Steamboat at Wrestlemania 3 as the greatest match of all time. Both guys are top tier workers and they put on what could be considered a "perfect" wrestling match.

Savage DEFINITELY in my top 10.

I think it's a little of both...Wrestling is part Technical and the rest is how good of a show you put on...so Randy fits both bills.

He was an essential part of what made the WWF awesome in the 80s.

-Andre the Giant
-Hulk Hogan
-Ric Flair
-Bob Backlund
-Ricky Steamboat
-Superstar Billy Graham
-Terry Funk
-Bruno Sammartino
-Chris Benoit
-Bret Hart
-Superfly Snuka
