why did this show get canned???

my guess would be production costs

Got all the way through The Wire no problems as it is awesome but lost interest in Deadwood towards the end of Season 2. Should finish it. Watching True Blood now.

It was actually scheduling problems. Folks lost interest because it was often on at different times.

Wanted to watch this for AGES- finally got myself a copy of the complete series off of ebay a couple of weeks ago and am halfway through the third (and final) season.

I am absolutely DREADING the end of it.

Easily one of my favorite shows of all time. Had to get a little acclimated to the over the top swearing, but god I'm hooked.

Al Swearengen is one of the most FASCINACTING characters I've ever had the pleasure of watching, and played brilliantly by Ian McShane.

With all of the garbage on tv, it's a damn shame it didn't go longer............

I loved the series..

It's what made me a fan of Timothy Olyphant.

Ian McShane was great as a "villain"... she his interests were so diverse.
