It would had been great if SSC did put a light on the sculpted smoke. It would had look great. If they ever do a Phoenix, this would be a great option with the color translucent flame.

Thanks mike300, I got the regular edition from Cornerstore comics, so I had time to see all the excl. pics that people were posting. Then when I got mine I saw that the "Bamf" was an opaque kind of resin material and I thought to myself "LIIIIGHT BUUUULB" and literally too. I took the bamf to the dark garage and grabbed my handy-dandy head lamp, with red LED light, turned it on behind the bamf, and giggle manically to myself. I'm thinking I would really like to have the lights flickering or pulsating from under the bamf, but that all depends on where I can get the wiring, switch, and lights.
And yes VS1976 it would have been the easiest thing in the world to put lighting into this statue. Sideshow did it so well with the Cyclops/Colossus X-Men diorama one would think this was a no-brainer.
