The Crossed by Garth Ennis
I picked up this TPB on my latest trip to NY City.
Very Strong and mature reading, highly reccomended, to bad he did not do a second volume.
There is a second volume but it is not the seame creative team.
If you have not read it yet you should asap...

The Dave Lapham crossed stuff is great too. The current series "psychopath" has been really good so far too. Definitely not for the squeamish though!

The 3-D one shot from a few weeks back wasn't very good. It fits in w/ the whole mythology, but you can take a pass.

I'm going to check it out as soon as it's collected. You can't get a better follow-up to Ennis then the writer of Stray Bullets. I have no doubt he has some twisted ideas.

I read this in one complete sitting in tpb form, and it absolutely blew my mind. I'm an Ennis groupie from waaaaay back and I STILL wasn't quite mentally prepared for what he did to me here.
Outstanding stuff.

I haven't read my copy yet because I didn't want to tear out the glasses, sad to hear the bad review on it. I wasn't expecting too much out of it though TBH..

Didn't really care much for the whole incest focus of Volume 2 plus the art was HORRIBLE!! The art for psychopath is way better and the whole concept seems interesting. The only thing is that when Ennis was writing it, most of the stuff was super OVER THE TOP and gruesome. I think Lapham is doing things a little too "real" which kind of makes it less fun and more disturbing for all the wrong reasons.

Very similar to Walking Dead, except way more extreme. Beyond X-rated, not for kids.
