Clear and distinct improvement IMHO. Especially on the regular head. Obviously these close-up shots point out all the flaws in the paint apps but given most statues are viewed from a few feet away these new heads look great to me. Very pleased with how these turned out. Glad I didn't send mine back.

Other than the hair being noticeably darker on both new heads I also noticed a change in the sculpt of the exclusive headband. Compare the 2 shots and you'll see the old headband curved upwards a little bit more.

The regular looks okay but the ex. head is still a fail, like most of you have expressed. I'm glad you have at least one head that you can display Scott.

After seeing all the replacements you guys have received and seeing that the problem was not completely fixed, I'm even happier about my decision to return Rogue to Sideshow and get a full refund. I made the decision at the end of December. Sideshow was somewhat resistant to the idea, but after I pressed them on it they changed their tune and allowed me to do it.

I hope most of you can now close the book on this debacle, whether you decided to keep her or not.

That sucks you returned yours Gabe.

I'm satisfied with mine. My close-up shots expose all the flaws, but that was the point really. As I stated previously she looks fine from normal viewing distanes. Obviously she could look better but I could say that to varying degrees about a lot of pieces. As far as I'm concerned the issue has been put to bed and I do think Sideshow has taken note and will be more careful moving forward. The effort put into the new Psylocke portrait is evidence of this I think.

Well, at least she went from putting on too much eyeshadow and then getting kicked by a donkey, to just putting on too much eyeshadow

Ugh! On the exclusive original and repaint heads, it looks like Rogue has a bloody, crusty nose!

Just got my replacement statue yesterday. Thankfully, Daniel at Sideshow sent me a photo of the Exclusive head prior to shipping it out to make sure I gave it the okay. The paint app is much better and both heads now have eyes that are looking in the same direction.

Right now I'm scanning an art book from the library. Not really stealing....just borrowing permanently.
