Funny, looking at a print of Daft Punk reminds me of Daft Punk and their music. Not a specific scene in a movie they cameoed in for 5 seconds.

They aren't actually referenced to Tron, I just threw it in there because I know a few of you guys like the movie and the music . . . and I enjoy spending your money for you

Well I was almost pulled out of the movie by the whole music video feel of the cameo with them bobbing their head up and down. The bad action scene following it doesn't help either...

A Ghostbusters print will be at the Righteous Rides show. Not what I'm looking for but getting there.

guys, sad news. my portfolio pages showed up today so tonight i was able to transfer the art from my tubes into the pages. i have to admit, i am totally underwhelmed by the Marko Manev prints. i haven't laid eyes on them in person until tonight. the size is ok (easy to handle), but, from everything I've seen online, they looked so much more vivid. too much grit for me. i like the Surfer print the best out them all, its the cleanest looking, imho. i kinda expected a fresher print being that they're giclees, maybe a little more gloss. granted, that could be part of the whole noir feel, but, not really feeling them. of course, at this point, may as well get the last 3 to complete the run, which ill no doubt use as trade towards an ISO.

in other news, while going through the tubes, ran across a Rob Loukotka Bond DB5 print from the Gizmos/Gadgets show at Bottleneck a few months back. wow, is it beautiful! also, my favorite format, 12"x36".

I was thinking about getting this one. I guess he couldn't show Connery. That's kind of strange on the print. There are a few other small bits that bother me and stopped me from purchasing.
