hooked

have you ever had a title that was out for awhile and you picked up a single issue or a tpb and totally fell in love with it? happened to me this week. actually, i bought the 1st tpb for saga awhile back and never got around to reading it. went on a vacation and busted it out on the plane. goodness gracious. what a fantastic story. i found a lcs on vacation and scored the 2nd trade and read it on the way back. will definitely be adding this to the pull list.

I don't have a solution but I admire the problem.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I'm usually right there for the first issue's of just about anything that strikes my interest. Saga had me hooked from get go. I think it may be one of the best comics out there at the momemnt.

normally I buy anything that is buy a certain artist and/or writer. but wait for it to be collected now.

Came into Fables just before they started the Deluxe books. Same with Y the Last Man, Ex Machina, 100 Bullets, and the Starman Omnibus'. Got the Preacher tpbs just as the last was coming out. Bought the Absolute Sandman Vol. I on a blind buy and bought the other 4 with just reading 1 maybe 2tpbs from a library
Got the Invincible and Walking Dead Compediums on a blind buy

Great choices! Invincible is my favorite book and TWD is #2 or #3. Chew is up there also and was a book I was turned onto by a close friend. I got the first trade and went back and am currently building my run. Actually, I'm only 6 issues away from my Invincible run, but have 2 complete TWD runs. Booya.

we met Joe Eisma in Abq last month and i meant to buy Morning Glories when i was there, but, saw them at the LCS yesterday and swooped up the TPB's Vol 1-4. solid art and the story is just now picking up. enjoying them so far.

actually, my son had Joe draw Wonder Woman on his JLA jam. ive been trying to find someone to commission a fantastic Atom Eve, but, still havent found the right person. i had Dijana Granov do one for me, but, it turned out weird. maybe Joe could tackle it.
