The light up is awesome but I think the Bowen skull and flames look better. The GG skull isn't terrible but the flames could've been longer.
Always great pics, thanks!

If it looked more like Crains art I'd be inclined to agree but it doesn't. It got the pose right but really go back and look at what this was based on and tell me truthfully you think this is a PERFECT representation of Crains art. The skull has an almost animated cartoony look on the statue and that imo has got rid of any of the "feeling" the art had.
I'm not gonna sit here saying "i'm a huge GR fan because i own blah blah". I don't like the statue as much as you do plain and simple and i'd implore anyone to pick up the Bowen Museums before picking this up.

I like the Bowen pieces. The reason I initially passed on the Danny Ketch GR was because of the blue jacket, which IMO should have been black.
As for the GG piece, I love it and pulled the trigger on one today after finding a good deal. The contrast between the black outfit and the flames really make the piece pop from what I can see.

The blue is more comic accurate I think they changed it latter on.

I guess its all in one's perception. I think if you look at it in the literal sense, it is indeed blue. That being said if you believe the jacket is blue and not black then the same must be said for the bike as it's colored the same way. I always saw the blue tint as more of an artistic choice to give the black some depth rather than to be perceived as actually blue in color. To me his pants are a dark grey/light black while the boots, jacket and bike are all black.

No! Stop posting pics! I seriously cannot afford to be getting into another line of statues. I refuse!
