The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Party was a blast. 30ish people came, including my godfather from Peru, friends from Boston, family and friends from Cleveland. My 18 month old son and his 14 month old cousin behaved for almost 6 hours at the restuarant.
Truly a special evening and not my last birthday party by any stretch of the imagination. Even with the chemo, I am generally healthy. It was important to me for all my friends to see that I am not on my death bed by any way shape or form.
Man did I drank too much though! Oh no, not alcohol, its just that I am limited to 1 liter of fluid a day and I easily doubled that at the party. Plus I did have 1/4 of a non-alcohoic beer. I was flying!!
My friends spoiled me. They chipped in and bought me this an Alex Ross Batman giclee (see below). This truly was too much for a gift and I did not want to accept it. However, they would here none of that. My wife got me a Dewback Statue. That is truly a cool piece. Very psyched to have it. I also got lots of misc. books, DVDS and video games -- lots of stuff to keep me busy -- but nothing by Bowen. I guess people figure I know where to get that on my own or perhaps they are afraid of just overpaying on EBay?
My BDay is actually on Tuesday and provided I am fealling well and the doctor OKs my plans - my wife, sister, and brother in law are going to see Spamalatot on Wed. and all having massages on Thursday. I figure its time to splurge and enjoy myself because eventually this rapid fire chemo is going to take its toll on me.
Thanks again to all of you for reading my posts. It just feels good to have an outlet to share whats going on.
