They had to get it out for the Pro Tour guys. Otherwise they'd have screwed tournament organizers.

It's extremely good for the community that the game comes out now.

I don't do betas either, but for online games, this "state of completion" upon release, is unfortunately par for the course.

Man the lupe daigo match was fixed! No way it could have gone to final round. I've been watching daigo play for years. This isn't how he plays. He let lupe win. It's all a publicity stunt..

Two things that mmmmmaaayyyyy lean to it not have been staged.

If I recall correctly...
1) Lupe works on SFV. He know the in's and out's. Frame data, etc. Moves that win over other and whatnot.

2) Diago, is not AS used to SFV as Lupe would be given #1 is correct. I have heard many times, it can be easy to take Diago in a best of 3, but play best of 50...he will learn/figure it out and win overall.

In my opinion, (if not staged...) you can easily see Diago missing those small timings/windows. Missing/Whiffing punishes that a viewer can see. If a viewer can see, I promise you Diago sees it. Hell his, DP timing looked way off.

Diago straight looked like someone that is not used to the timings (compared to his opponent at the time). That little bit of off, like when you play LAN all the time then try to play online VS someone who only plays online.

But in the end I agree, I dont believe Diago "lost".

So my brother called me at like 2 am saying how angry he was that they gave Ken blue eyes in the story mode. Haha. Apparently after he gets his new look Bengus drew him with blue eyes.

I cant wait to get more time with it when I get home from work today. I wasnt able really to play much last night as the servers were acting up. I did get my bearded Ryu code and played a little training with him.

The game looks amazing just hope that it has the staying power as previous releases did.

Been playing V all day, love Rashid, love his attitude, love how he plays! i need a statue!

Whipped through all the "story" modes and played a ton online, as a person who never got one with 4, i'm happy to say V feels way better to me and i look forward to all the coming updates and characters ( sweet sweet Alex ) because the game is barebones as ---- lol.

I was going to pick up my pre-order today, but I am going to wait until the game gets some more content. If online is all it has at the moment, I will wait until March or after to pick this up. Shame really.
