I really want more X-Men but Spidey villains are awesome as well.

You won't feel the same when they do the 3rd version and you already have the 2nd iterations

I think the reason they make 2nd, 3rd, 4th versions of the same character is because that is what sells. Kind of hard to gamble on putting out a $600-$1000 statue of Lagoon Boy.

I saw a post recently how the long time collector is really an aberration, that it is really about meeting the needs of that new audience, so in that sense, revisits just make sense. No idea how true that is, but I can see the logic behind it. I have already seen people with large collections that used to be on all the time fall away from the hobby, and some big time collectors get out/sell off their collections.

I'm all for revisits of my favorite characters. Revisit Daredevil with the yellow costume. Revisit Daredevil with the black Frank Miller origin costume. Hell, revisit Daredevil with a Matt Murdock premium format. I'll buy them all.

I agree with this. Selfishly, I want new designs and characters, but I understand how new people to the hobby would like statues of their favorite characters. I think this is part of the motive behind Sideshow having ES's of 7500 for Batman PF, Spiderman PF and the Darth Vader PF. All of which are among my favorite pieces.

Disappointed it's Carnage, would have much preferred either Doc Ock, Scorpion or Lizard leaping over those girders chasing Spidey.
Hobgoblin would have been great too, a mirror pose of GG to put on the other side of the Spidey PF.
