I think that people can sit here and make jokes about it sort of goes a long way in defining the level of "erotisicm" that this piece has, or doesn't have. It just misses the mark for me. Maybe I'm spoiled by ARH's other work.
I feel like this piece just came out of left field. Why not a similar concept but make her more human and put some bird wings on her and call her a harpy. Then she could have fit in with the Greek line... Or lose the wings entirely and made her the vampire from Arkhalla that reads the future... I forget her name... Or Athena.
It's just a shame that this was Ehrens last piece. It just could have been so much better on so many levels. Arahom might as well just bite the bullet, paint it red and kick it out so that he can move on to his next project.

I may be in the minority, but I actually like this piece. I think her base color should definitely be a normal skin tone with the demonic accents darker shades of red.

I think the challenge is the blending of the skin to the demonic parts. So if her skin was flesh tone what color would her scales and ridges be? I think red is going to be the color she ends up being but how standard is a red demon girl... I said from the first showing of this piece that's it's going to be a challenge to paint and it really has turned out to be just that. I wish Arahom would take some pics of some of the paint schemes and post them up... Id like to see the direction his head is in.

go for it. I had my own ideas about the paint on this but Arahom was insistent about it being red. I wanted a more purple/blue theme
