Yeah.
Not the Future War as depicted in the first film at all.

I have zero faith in anything Teminator at this point. I still haven't seen Genisys because honestly, it looks like a steaming pile of revisionist reboot garbage.
The fact that Cameron is "involved" in a new film doesn't mean squat to me either. I loved T2 but it was basically the same thing as Terminator only with a more elaborate script and a much larger budget. Which tells me he probably doesn't have any more story to tell.
Call me crazy but I actually enjoyed Salvation. Not a perfect film but I think it had the right idea in terms of how the franchise should've headend. At least it expanded on the original premise instead of retreading old ground.

meh, I liked all the Terminator movies so far... Yeah maybe most are not quite the same caliber of T2 but they're still entertaining....

I rarely turn movies off so early, but I made it about 25-30 mins in then shut it down. Never looked back.

Wow! That bad huh? Doubt I'll ever give it a chance. Trailers spoiled the film anyway from what I could tell.

I didn't watch Terminator Genysis it for ages, it looked like a CGI mess to me from the trailers. But actually, I didn't hate it, in fact I quite enjoyed aspects of it tbh, more so than Salvation and T3 anyway. Give it a try if it's on tv, you may be surprised. As for T6, I'm intrigued, but not overly optimistic. I expect something watchable at best, anything else will be a bonus.

I wouldn't recommend even that. The entire film and its acting is forgettable.
Save your time and do something productive like learn a new language.
