I've noticed a few comments here and other place about the likeness being off. I don't see it. I think it's pretty accurate. The most accurate Scarlett statue to date.

Gentle Giant's and Sideshow's were way off compared to this. Then I see comments that state the opposite. We must all perceive faces differently? It makes no sense otherwise.

The new photo's do show the statue in a better light. I've grown to like the statue quite a bit.
If they had gone with more of an eye squint, the facial likeness would have worked more than the wide eye look.

Can you elaborate more?
Statue looks like the outfit that ScarJo most likely wore on set. But as you see in the photo, they used CGI to blend the outfit so that it no longer looks like an outfit, but part of her android body. That's the look I want.

they even showed the cgi body beside the prototype
at their website. they should have used it as a reference to produce the figure.

Weta is primarily an effects company and I think the statue was done as movie production maquette for the movie design work. The director may have decided later to use CGI to blend the bodysuit into the body. That doesn't excuse trying to sell something that doesn't match movie unless this was marketed as replica of the production maquette.

Similar example of this was the Sideshow Legendary Size Figure of Neytiri from Avatar produced by Legacy. Legacy originally made the maquette for the movie product and later used it to produce the collectible. Since it was a production maquette as part of design development, it doesn't look like the final CGI face design of Neytiri.

A new poster for the film was released yesterday.
They appear to have given the Major's outfit what appears to be a glossy grey look.

Edit: Maybe the flying glass gives the glossy look ;D
