Delays causing loss of interest, complaints of production fabrics being vastly different from the protos (despite pcs saying otherwise), if you kept up with this thread you would have known that the ----storm was strong lol.

Pretty much everything, from every company, is slow to sell these days due to the market being overwhelmed with new stuff. BST groups seem almost dead. I used to sell statues constantly, but it has become so rare in the groups that I put them on eBay. It takes a long time to sell on eBay, but I'm able to sell if I'm patient.

This is probably the worst I've ever seen it in terms of reselling. If I don't intend to keep a statue I am no longer buying said statue, otherwise I'm stuck with it.

Statues also in general are a lot lower when they release. They ride super high right after a sold out PO then slow down usually and when release comes out they are generally had for retail prices, then they'll creep back up over time (assuming they aren't replaced by something better).

The truth is, the hobby is far more ----ed than we realize. but in the same sense it's much bigger and better than it was 15 years ago...but at the same time in my opinion I think the overall state of the hobby is equivalent to a giant snake that is eating itself, tbh.

People paying over $1,000 for an undelivered piece that retails for less took a risk. Now it isn't working out for them. Boo hoo.

PCS has never sold statues that look like these 1/3 mixed media prototypes and it appears the factories are just willing to make imitations not duplicate copies.
People will still like this Scorpion in hand but nobody's paying double pay in full retail to get anything less than what they see in promotional pictures.

As Jerry has mentioned in previous threads, the bubble has already popped for this hobby. The statues are indeed getting much better, but they are also getting more expensive. So much product out there and people are becoming more picky.

People should buy what they like and want to display....not to resell it for a profit. Best case scenario is if you had to sell a statue, that you hope to break-even. Unless of course you have a grail that is hard to come by.
