Loved Alien Aliens and Prometheus.
Covenant was complete garbage. Terrible terrible and not scary or suspenseful at all. I won't give away any spoilers but yikes...more later.

Spoiler Alert: Aliens grow out of people's bodies and kill people.
This should be a great ALIEN reboot, but it seems like the film I've been waiting for after Prometheus is yet to be made.

That's the impression I'm getting as well. While I love me some traditional ALIEN action/horror I was hoping for more of a continuation of the ideas put forth in Prometheus.

Its just ok, not great, on a side note I would not put the crew of the Covenant in charge of and Ice-cream van never mind a space craft carrying 2000 colonists.

What's really sad is Scott had Fox cancel Neil Blomkamp's Aliens sequel for THAT garbage!?! It was really bad, so bad I'd watch Alien Resurection again and I didn't like it at all.
No spoilers yet but I was to impressed at all. The CG Aliens look so bad too. Embarrassing movie.

So I should wait for this on digital(Amazon) and pay $15 or wait till it eventually hits Netflix?
Really damn shame about the CGI. You'd think these assholes would've been smart and used practical effects.

Exactly what I thought when it was over. Kinda pissed me off. No true sequel to my precious Aliens.
