If you can find it for a good price (less than $50 shipped), I would say, go for it. Technically it is just a companion to the first omnibus. No much content at all.

Pretty much. It only contains 12 issues of the Spider-Man solo run and some extras (covers, art, etc). Marvel offered Todd his own Spider-Man book as an incentive to stay after he left ASM. In the end, he did leave with other creators to start Image comics. The only reasons to own this tiny omnibus would apply to McFarlane fans, 90's comic book history buffs and/or completionists. The stories are subpar and the art is just your average 90's fare. Not even Todd's best.

Ah ok. CGN has it for $41, so I was just curious. Sounds like I'll pass then. Thanks gents!

Correction. The omnibus has 15 issues instead of only 12. In any case, $41 is not a bad price. Better than what I paid.

Sounds like a small Omnibus. Aren't they typically in the neighborhood of 30 issues?

Yes - but getting those issues singularly should only run you about $1 an issue. So $15 all together. The first issue may cost a little more - but no where near $41 for all those issues.

More or less. Calling this book an Omnibus is a bit misleading. Some Masterworks have more content than this.
