I emailed them Monday and was told they are "getting close" but no date yet from factory. It's now 5 months since many of us got on the replacement list for a new body

I got confirmation that I'll be getting a complete replacement. No word on the date though.

I know I'm super late to the party on this one, but mine finally arrived.
Anyone else think that the paint job, while clean, is super flat and boring? It's an awesome sculpt with no "pop". At least on the figure. The throne is decently done.

Super flat paint? Hardly. Looks just like the proto from SDCC.

They told me specifically not to do anything with it. I think they're waiting to make sure they arrive safely to Sideshow's warehouse where it'll undergo another QC inspection.
It was hinted to me that they're keeping a close eye on the casting of these replacements.
I think it's unprecedented that a company is making a new batch of statues specifically for replacements. I wonder how many pieces they're making?

I completely agree with how flat the paint job is. Was a bit disappointed when I received mine. Sculpt on him is amazing but the paint is flat and a bit boring. The throne stands out more than he does!
Nice piece none the less. Happy with his size and detail just wish it had more of a wow factor.
