im still on the fence with x-23, i think its a bad ass piece but with prices where they are i think i may just have to focus on villains

still looking for a cyclops and beast though, might be down for those unless theres a psylocke situation...

Some thoughts:

Magneto: Honestly a really good effort. The EX is okay but not needed.

Psylocke: Went from a buy to a pass. I am not a fan of the portrait change at all.

Rouge: Again good effort but for me the EX is not needed. For some reason that hair (on the EX) does not translate well to the portrait.

X-23: Probably going to end up the best piece in the group. It was nothing short of spectacular at SDCC. If they add a knockout EX it will probably move to a 10.

Wolverine: Probably all the Wolverine my collection needs. Just a awesome piece and a must have EX (IMHO). Mine is flawless.

I think moving forward, we won't see much of the tiger stripe outfit anymore. Especially, with Wolverine coming back to the books and sporting a different outfit. The blue/yellow is my favorite as well, but I am happy with the OG PF.

I think the upturned hair on X-23 looks terrible, and the costume is lame.

Psylocke’s original face didn’t look Asian at all but this one isn’t much better either.

First the base, now the face. Yes, I hate both enough to rate her a 4.

But, to be fair, I did say if she had a good environment base that was cohesive with the other X-Men and the SDCC portrait, she'd be a 10/10.

This is a great example of how a few bad design choices can take a statue from a must-have to an absolute pass.
