Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009)

I happened to see this other other day. It's difficult to defend to what amounts to a bland movie. Kristin Kreuk, who plays the part of Chun-Li looks pretty, and makes for a decent enough Chun-Li. In short, the film lacks a decent story, and lacks enough fighting action. Most of the cast act like B-listers. I give the movie the time of day just because it's Street fighter

The movie should've presented longer clips of interviews with people who knew Bill Finger, but this is an interesting look at not just Finger's life but also author Marc Nobleman's obsession with getting Finger attributed for his work on Batman.

The Night Comes For Us - 9/10 A triad master assassin takes a young girl under his wing and faces their wrath. Anyone who liked the Raid will love this.

Submarine (2010) - 6/10

Director Richard Ayoade was trying too hard to be Wes Anderson with this movie. Still, it could be argued that Wes Anderson has based his entire career on Hal Ashby's Harold & Maude. Whatever the case, Submarine was a fairly entertaining flick - not one that will stick with me forever, but was at least fun (and sometimes painful) to watch.

when i was watching the film, i was like ''wait a munite, they weren't treating black people as their equals back then in America...'' i told this to my friend afterwards the film and he had no idea. So i asked a historian tomb raider lol friend about it and he told me that it was bull----... there was no black parachute jumpers in world war II. My point is i don't like how they altered the history like that, i never like lying about history, it bothers me alot... It's wrong no matter for what's sake. But other than that i gave the film a 6 because it was kind of watchable, i had good time with an old friend of mine.

well, wiki is closed to my country :/ My friend is a good historian and he said there hadn't been any black jumpers... i have no idea on the other hand, i'm not very knowledgeble about American history.
