Sounds like their trying to restructure their business.... It could be on the brink of bankruptcy or something...

If they know what they're doing, then I hope it goes well. I know they're not the most popular company, but they bring some unique stuff to the table. Would be a loss if they went out of business.

Well, it certainly looks worse at this point.

I hope things work out ok.
If it were not for Yamato, i wouldn't have got into this hobby. It all started with Ritual 1/4

No word from them since Sept. 2018....
I'm guessing whatever restructuring they were trying to do has probably hit a big wall.... I figured something was up when they kept releasing variants of Harley and WW instead of releasing new stuff.

I imagine they're selling off all their old inventory.

To me, a lot of their face sculpts went into "uncanny valley" territory. They were pretty and realistic to a certain point that I half expected the statues to start talking to me, which is creepy.

I do really wish Yamato USA the best, even though at this point hope is fading. I have found no other statues to be of the slightest interest to me.
'A Touch of Ice' was what introduced me to Yamato, I have a few Royo pieces, and bought three of Wei Ho's Greek Myth sculpts. I have been in anxious anticipation of 'Urano's Drops' for years. Looks as if the anticipation will come to naught. If that is the case, maybe my 3D printer will have some exercise, shame my computer sculpting skills are [ahem] woeful.
Blast.
Regards
Richard.

Katana will be made, but Yamato will no longer hold a DC license starting July 1 2019. A real shame
