Davis' Catwoman is the best artistic version of the character in my mind.

I do love this costume because in so many ways it reminds me of the Jim Balent costume, even though it's very different in structure.

I doubt she would ever go back to this outfit but I would love a return of the Jim Balant costume. I just never loved the black leather version at all.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

That Davis Catwoman/Joker story was so great to me at the time. I love his Catwoman and Joker... and Robin.... and Batman....
I don't mind the Cooke version and all it's variants since, but I am definitely over it when it comes to all of it's statue representations.

The Mike W. Barr & Alan Davis run on Detective Comics is one of my favorites and ended too soon. It was such a great portrayal of the characters and the Batman & Robin dynamic.
I like this statue but would LOVE one based more on Davis' work.

I agree that the Catwoman one is the best. Followed by Joker.
And her Silver Age costume has always, always, always, been my favorite. Hell, my second favorite isn't even from the comics because it's BTAS (black&gray). Third is the Cooke. Fourth is Balent. I know people LOVE Balent, but it always seem hookerish to me. I know, Silver Age is all legs and top cleavage. However, Balent just makes her look like she's a sex doll. But that is also how Balent drew her -- very top heavy. The look always made me think that "That would be a good Halloween costume at the Playboy Mansion"

The breasts eventually seemed to get a reduction on their own but I do agree she was too top heavy for about a year or two
