I'm not referring to that ugly Astonishing Colossus costume. I'm talking about Cassady's Astonishing costume for both Colossus and Cyclops. To me, those both look fantastic. As for the XM Lee era Storm, I think she's absolutely magnificent in just about every way. My problem is I HATE the Lee costume with a passion (same with Cyclops). I personally don't think we will ever see a better looking Storm portrait (the serious straight ahead one). That portrait is gorgeous and my fear is that every future Storm statue will pale in comparison to it. If the XM Storm was in her OG Byrne/Cockrum costume, it would be a wrap for me. It would be my ultimate Storm statue. Unfortunately, my dislike of the Lee costume didn't allow me to drop a grand on a statue I didn't completely love. I'm anxiously awaiting to see what sideshow does with their next Cyclops, Colossus, and Storm PFs. So long as they aren't Lee inspired, color me intrested.
