Danni Mint (I misspelled it before with a y instead of an i), also known as Brexit.

Pics by nearmint.

GG doesn’t deserve this line. Someone else should take it over. Sell these at $400 and you will sell out instantly.

Gentle Giant appear to have a bigger appetite for all things Star Wars, especially small busts that are a long way off Hot Toys standards when it comes to likeness. I guess Star Wars fans lap them up?

The only girl I kept was Derby. She is my favorite and I thought her and Fireball would look awesome together. I sold Whisper and Katja.

I own:
Gentle Giant - Honey Trap - Derby
Gentle Giant - Honey Trap - Kat-ya
Gentle Giant - Honey Trap - Lucky
Gentle Giant - Honey Trap - Whisper (grey)

Some day i want to bag Whisper (red). Derby is my favourite on out of the 4 released pieces. I own 2x Derby (don't ask why).

I still can't work our why GG would go to all the effort to alter Junior/Fireball's portrait (for the better) only to put the line on hold?
..and why show the 2 new pieces, one of which looks amazing!

Got rid of everything except the Whisper Variant. Doubtful Iíll ever part with that one, but never say never I guess. Itís simply on another level IMO and Iím happy to keep it as a beautiful stand alone piece.

It comes down to low sales.
But they only did that to themselves.
If they would have put them up for pre-order right away after their first reveal at SDCC, they would have sold better. But they have such terrible delays in every aspect of their business. Plus, compared to similar 1/4 statues by other companies, these are overpriced. They also turned off the option to pre-order Fireball on their site for over a year.

So true.

I remember when these were first revealed! I was so hyped. Whisper was completely out of left field, and at the time, no one was doing anything like it. Other companies were churning out the usual Marvel, D.C. and Star Wars - this was so fresh.

Then they just did nothing.....I mean, they must know their business model better than me, and I guess they have an idea what will or won't sell.....but to me it was like they had a winning lottery ticket and were dragging their feet to claim the prize.
