I have my grandfathers Model 94 Winchester. It's a 1947 manufacture. And I would agree....no one handed loading with it either. LOL

They do make lever actions with a much bigger area for your hand. I still wouldn't try it.

Yes, there are those, however they are meant to be spun to reload, hence the larger opening. "Toss cocking" these rifles would still likely cause severe hand trauma. I believe the pump action shotgun is one of the only weapons that can safely be cocked with one hand. Even that is more macho than functional.

Those guys are entertaining. Most don't know what their doing and have fancy things from video games. Only time I worry at the range is when kids or ppl who no business being there rent out the full autos and class 3's.
