I planned to order the marble version, but at the last second, I changed my mind, and ordered the coloured one. Don't ask me why, but I don't regret.

How does it compare to the prototype? From the photos, it doesn't look bad, but (as usual) not as good either.

The paint of the skin is remarkable. Its small imperfections, its grain are perfectly imitated. As I already said, you also have many subtle shadings.
The base, the shield are identical to the prototype.
Regarding the portrait, if you look - Youtube- at the unboxing video of Infinity, you will note that the portrait doesn't look like the proto, and it doesn't even look like mine... Maybe because lighting.
On the production portraits, eyelashes are not drawn, eyebrows are different, eye makeup is different too.
When I opened the box and saw the portrait, I wasn't like what the hell, but more like wow.
Of course, if you compare the proto portrait and the production portrait, you only can say, well something has been lost somewhere.
However, not enough to ruin my fun.
I'll post more photos tomorrow, with the daylight.

About that:
Each part is wrapped and held with tape, so there is no risk that pieces of your statue will wander around in the styro.
Both boxes have their corners protected by plastic parts.
It seems that Infinity has learned from its mistakes, which should reassure those who have recently made purchases at this company.

Still no photos, bad lighting since two days.

This is growing on me. I agree the face looks way better than ARH's own Athena (and the reason why i don't own it).
My only problem is that it doesn't scream anceint Greece to me. It's too exotic and modern. Other than that, it's a stunning statue!

I am glad to read that they learned from their mistakes as some productions have been quite lackluster in terms of QC. Let's hope they keep following the new trend!

You're right. With her blond hair and braids, it screams more Viking than Greek. Not only that, but we don't see a lot of Athena with wings.
But well, she is a beauty. I forgive her.
