I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Whereas I don't disagree that it is a pretty statue, I still feel that the original WW Bombshells statue came closer to hitting the mark of evoking the WWII airplane nose art concept. Despite all the grousing about cankles and her smile, etc., to me she embodied the symbolic art of the era. Maybe she wasn't glamorous, but she is more representative, IMHO.

Agree to disagree, but it is likely my least favorite Bombshells statue. I think trying to stick to a theme, and execution, are two different things.

Perhaps. But in that case they could have called the line "40's Babes" or "Ladies of the Forties". Bombshells conjures up that era and also was a definitive theme regarding nose art, not something so generic as suggested above. Either way, like what you like and I'll do likewise, but remember you were the one that said "...we deserve" and I chafed a bit at that presumption. Carry on.

Actually I have huge issues with many of the statues, being not "pinup" in any way... pretty sure I have mentioned it before here. WW just has always been unattractive to me.... can't get past it.
