Blizzard Thrall statue

When buying this released Thrall, i would go for some customization.
The paint looks well done, but some areas have to much of the same color palette (imo)

1/5 is a nice size for Blizzard or affordable 1/1 head sculpt.

I really don't understand the big price difference between usd & euros on gearstore statues?
With warehouse in Netherlands it was 1usd=1euro, but after takeover (UK based) we have to pay 50% more!

Lighting won't change the sculpt, but the colors aren't as blown out as the Blizzard pics.

BTW when did people decide it's OK to do white backgrounds for statue photography? Terrible....

My dream WoW statue. Ehren has already sculpted a ooak bust for blizz charity and he knocked it out of the park. I want a full size sooooo bad.

Wow can't believe I missed this, I need Thrall in my collection.

In the description it says there are interchangeable hands with or without weapon. I'm wondering what are all the display options this has. Would be nice to have Doomhammer only, without the axe on shoulder just to get more of the classic look.

Well, I'm glad people have a chance to pick up Thrall, as he's crazy iconic to the franchise. That being said though, I'm really surprised that Bolvar wasn't the next statue to help market the Shadowlands game. Usually they always do a character that is very representative of the expansion. Unless the plan is to release a Bolvar statue when they do virtual Blizzcon around jan/feb. Still it's Halloween as well and on the brink of expansion release. If it was Bolvar, I would have pulled the trigger.

I am a little upset at the price increase though so suddenly after the Llilith price increase. I mean you are getting good statues with good detail and quality control to the best of my knowledge. But $200 increase in less than 2 years is crazy.

So just got the statue and holy crap is nice. Detail is great. Face is much better in person, just like the while Jaina statue face issues. Pictures are just bad but in person much better. Just picking the box up, its Blizzards heaviest statue it feels like. I would highly recommend getting thus if you guys collect statues. Price increase to 600 is a little crazy still. Should be like 400-500.

The face looks a lot better in person, even if he still looks like Walter Mathrall...
