Pretty sure it was the Frazetta license that sank them. It wasn’t as ‘in demand’ as they thought it would be, they had huge plans and kept shooting themselves in the foot (the ugly chick with Conan that at first you had to get, then they weren’t going to change it). All this after they had a hit with Medusa and a little bit of credibility.
I’ve never owned an ARH piece, been interested in a few things, but their website was always garbage so I never spent any money with them. Still, I like some of what they have done, own a number of the comics (not bad), and appreciate them from afar.
Frankly I’m impressed they have kept plugging away.
