What I wonder is?

Is there a container somewhere in China with some of these items completed and boxed, just never got final payment from CC, thus they are held up until CC bankruptcy is finalized or payment? I didn't even check other collectible lines.

When I saw these adds from BBTS (see attached pics) who has been around since October 2005, that is what I thought. Its a new listing since Mid December time frame.

And after everything that has happened, why would you risk, taking non refundable deposits, unless you were sure you would be getting merchandise to sell?

Images 1-4 ask for non-refundable deposits, Images 5-6 do not ask for non-refundable deposits.

I have ordered 2 pre-orders with BBTS in the past, non Chronicle items.
1) $40.00 cost
2) 400.00 cost
Neither had a non-refundable deposit.

Could it be possible BBTS paid the remaining unpaid balance to manufacture in China to get these? Then you throw in 24%-46% off list cost, depending on item.

The whole thing is mind boggling.

See attached.

I believe you'll get store credit/cash refund from BBTS if they can't deliver.

I did order the John Wick props because they were instock. Didn't order any of their POs though.

Saw those products at BBTS too, and I ordered the hatchling baby raptor with no problem and received it in about 4 days. But it was on a green “IN STOCK” buttom and bought it. Day later it changed to PRE ORDER. Even tought it’s my first purchase in BBTS, read they charge you when the order is ready for shippment. It was a fair price 189.99 compared to the resellers.

The original prop was sold on PropStore back in November.

All those are products that were already produced, as I said before those are just old stock that has been sitting in CC warehouse, those are not "new" items from China.

My man your continued bewildered apprehension by all this is what's mind boggling. Not sure if it's a language barrier or what.
BBTS is one of THE safest places to spend your money. They've been around longer than 2005.
I've had NRDs refunded by Big Bad. Others have given you personal anecdotes.

Why don't you contact them by email or phone and ask if the manufacturer of whatever pieces you want to order is unable to deliver do you get your NRD refunded?

I spoke to a couple of sellers on eBay selling bizarre single items that came from a Chronicle Collectibles auction in Texas. Looks like they’ve cleared everything out and BBTS obviously got first dibs on the old stock.
