I'll take that. The sooner, the better, as far as I'm concerned.

I was about to order the PCS Starscream after the last of my points were saved from my latest purchase.

Last week it was $203 to ship to Pennsylvania...now its $242.14!!

Seriously, what the deuce?! I'm getting a King Ghidorah Statue (35 x 53 x 31) from Thailand and I had shipping options for $150 economy or $250 standard!

My biggest gripe with SSC is that we still don't have the following:

Definitive 1/4 comic-based classic
- Batman
- Aquaman
- Martian Manhunter
- Deathstroke
- Iron Man
- Captain America
- Thor
- Vision

Lee or Byrne 1/4 X-Men
- Angel/Archangel
- Beast
- Iceman
- Banshee
- Thunderbird
- Havok
- Polaris
- Bishop

You've got a some of the key characters I still need.

DC:
- Classic Perez Deathstroke
- Classic Martian Manhunter
- Two Face
- Ra's al Ghul
- Classic Deadshot

Marvel Avengers:
- Classic Cap (no pouches on his belt)

Marvel X-MEN:
- Classic or modern Storm
- Classic or modern Cyclops (Byrne or Cassaday)
- Classic Nightcrawler (Byrne)

While a decent amount of characters we need would be revisits, there are many fairly popular characters sideshow has flat out neglected over the years. Two Face, Penguin, Riddler, and Nightwing in the Batverse. Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, and Atom in JLA lineup. Doc Ock, Mysterio, Electro, Sandman, Scorpion, and Vulture in the Spidey line. Nightcrawler, Beast, Angel/Archangel, and Iceman in the X-MEN lineup.

My biggest gripe is when we get the EXACT same costumes on back to back revisits. For example, I don't want or need a Lee Cyclops. The last Cyclops PF was in his Lee costume (just like the 1st one). Why not release the last Cyke PF in his Byrne or Cassaday costume? This way collectors waiting for a Byrne or Cassaday Cyclops get one for their collection. If sideshow wanted to revisit the Lee costume, they could easily do so farther down the line. Ideally, the first Cyclops PF would've been Lee, second one Byrne, third one Cassidy, and a Lee revisit on the 4th one. Do the same thing with characters like Beast and Angel. 1st Beast PF is classic Byrne/Lee, 2nd one Astonishing/Cassaday, 3rd Retro Kirby Beast. Same for Angel (classic, Archangel, Kirby Angel). If sideshow would just mix up the costumes on their revisits and add in a few more first time characters, I would like to think that'd be a win-win for sideshow and their customers.

I released a new poll on the Let your Statue Sideshow facebook page.

I took the top 5 vote getters from last weekends poll and asked, If one of these were released to order as a Premium Format or Maquette in the next 12 months, which would you buy?

So if you're into it, go vote. Maybe it'll get Sideshow's attention since we know they check their group pages.

They may check it but then they wipe their ass with our opinions.

With such a large company like Sideshow relative to the statue/collectibles business, I'm sure it's a complicated sign off process to get something made. Especially since it requires a sizable upfront investment before the consumer pays for it. I'm sure they have a sizable art vault that even internally the artists are hoping to get made. I doubt what the consumer says they want ever really makes it past the suggestion box.

Oh I know about approvals and things like that but I also know they do take suggestions and at times use them.

I stopped collecting marvel and DC and decided to concentrate only on SW 1/4. The selection has been horrendous. The only new 1/4 pieces landing anytime soon is the royal guard. That’s it. I’ve ended going custom to fill the void and I’ve been really happy with the pieces I’ve been getting.
