I've always liked the artwork on that card. I'd love to see this, but I think the odds are slim. Would've been great to see Bowen put one out.

Even if it is the ugly Jim Lee suit, I wonder how much work it would be to customize it into the black lightning bolt costume (as pictured in the artwork on the box of the action figure).

I can't imagine that hard actually. It's virtually the same suit. Lee's has crazier shoulder pads and the X-communicators on the chest. This is a good idea btw - might make me get more than one if the price is right.
I am laughing at how jacked Polaris is in that group art  You'd think her powerset was brute strength.

That X-Men picture was from the era when the X-Men were separated and there was a faction of them on your island and somehow Polaris his powers were changed to where she was no longer had magnetic powers but she was transformed into for lack of a better term a mutant she hulk. Eventually her magnetic powers returned and her tall muscular stature was reduced. (She was captured by a villainess name Zaladane and it was insinuated that she was a relative of Lorna’s as but nothing ever came of that story line. I actually think that Zaladane is now dead but I could be wrong)
That X-Men picture was originally released as a three poster triptych and I owned those at one time and they were gorgeous but I have sold them)

I might consider it. IMO it doesn't even need a cape. I always loved the artwork on the box, and yes, I owned that action figure when I was a kid as well
