Hey gang, finally got my Dracula yesterday and absolutely love it. A few things, he ships in 1 box like Simon and Alucard with the color box inside 2 brown shippers with protection per usual. He's very easy to assemble and I purchased the EX with the extra head with the brown hair that to this day makes no sense to me. I'm not going to bother with it seeing as Drakul showed it above. However if you're into custom painting I could see a real nice grey haired swap out.
The statue itself imo is the best of the 3 Castlevania pieces so far. Simon is a close second with Alucard trailing due to the iffy likeness. The paint app is also the best out of the 3. He's very regal with only a few colors, black, red, some gold and grey tones. It's simple but works with all the textures going on in the clothing. The blood on the base is really nice. There's a liquid effect to it and not just red paint. The bat is super fragile, care needs to be taken
@Gyro Zeppeli It's just the pictures, you'll really appreciate the simplicity of the colors over the curvature of the statue. It all works together and my pictures don't do it justice.
So lets rip the band-aid off. Alucard is a hair taller than this piece. I don't know why but as others have mentioned his height is off. I personally don't care because it's such a great piece but I understand others concerns. I have included a picture for you guys showing off all 3 pieces together with my infamous tennis ball and it's clear as day so I hope that helps. Lords of Shadow Gabriel was much smaller than these even while sitting.
All in all a great piece, I highly recommend him if you're a Castlevania fan or even a fan of Dracula, classic, Hammer etc. He will work as a standalone in your collection. I really hope whoever sculpted this piece gets to work on their Death piece and hopefully we'll see a Richter, Maria and Shaft <--- (yeah right) sooner than later.
