The Lost Daughter (2021) - A woman's beach vacation takes a dark turn when she begins to confront the troubles of her past.

This adaptation of the novel felt vey much like reading a book--and I liked that with its rich development of supporting characters who may or may not have factored into the the film's resolution. 9/10

The Defiant Ones (1958) - 9/10

Excellent movie with some great acting by Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier.

Nice, it's cool to check out some oldies once in a while. Last year I finally saw Once Upon A Time In The West, and a couple Steve McQueen flicks, The Great Escape, and The Magnificent Seven.

All great films IMO. Surprisingly Once Upon a Time In The West did poorly at the box office. People didn?t want to see Henry Fonda as a bad guy.

Now would be the time, since it has just been released in 4K UHD.
