I expected $1200 for sure. If this had an XM label on it, people wouldn't think twice. But Thanos on Throne was the same price 5-6 years ago. Price is definitely high, but not shocked at all.

Exactly. Time for me to go look at the social media and the torches being lit about the price tag.

This is why people thought it would be lower. More? Yes. Proportionally way more than TH 1/4's that just went up for PO? No.

Maybe the production efficiencies went out the window since it's so far after the 1/6. Imagine the factory is wrapping up the original orders.

The price difference doesn't seem proportional:

Harley 1/6 to 1/4 = a $150 usd difference
Joker 1/6 to 1/4 = a $655 usd difference

Joker is far more detailed on that base than either WW or Harley. Far more. Not sure $500 dollars more, but it is.

Price is definitely higher than I thought but I am not terribly surprised. Easy pass for me. Frankly, I'd rather have the Prime 1 1/3 Joker chair piece for only a few hundred more.

Also, I don't trust Tweeterhead yet on their upscaling a 1/6 piece to 1/4 scale. Frankly, at the larger scale, Tweeterhead should be adding more detail/texture and I guess we'll see if that is truly the case. The pics aren't portraying that extra detail to me though (it looks like they are just blowing up the image).

That?s very true people order XM 1:4?s like it?s nothing at around the same price. It?s the low edition size that makes people snatch it as soon as possible. I think this will go real quick.

I don't need a joker and wasn't tracking that TH was even doing 1/4 with SS until I saw this on FB and the riots over the pricing. Them warning folks ahead of time about skyrocketing production costs should give everyone pause about just where this hobby is headed. I'm glad I am wrapping up my collection. There has never been more truly great pieces available, but at the same time you need extremely deep pockets to take this on. So much has changed in this hobby...

I'm happy for Tweeterhead's success, but part of me misses a statue maker on the market being considered a deal. Long ways from a $230 for 1:6 scale
