Agreed. They would have to provide a refund for the deposits. They would also have to eat a ton of canceled orders on a huge piece. I think he will honor the deals already done and cover his butt on future orders for this piece because he probably realized he will lose some money on shipping alone.

Still think this is an amazing statue potentially if it's close to prototype...Kind of seen inflation and shipping charges rising when I decided to cancel...I expect it to get worse before better with rising fuel costs.

Same, I purchased it from SC based on the free shipping as I knew it would be more than $300 to ship so I figured I would get a little break.

Didn’t order from SC but where I did (in US), was advertised as free ship with the $3250 price. If the retailer tries to charge shipping, I’m canceling and never buying there again, unfortunately.

The best customer/transaction experiences I have had so far are with: Sideshow, Prime 1, and Spec F . Let’s hope one of those 3 doesn’t try to mess that up

With a piece as high profile as this with this many collectors in one community ordered from the same seller, I have full confidence Shane is going to honor his existing orders especially to the members of this forum that have promoted him for years.

I can't imagine he won't honor the agreed price at time of pre-order. The guy doesn't want to be stuck with a ridiculous amount of inventory of these sure to be massive boxes.

I am curious what the real ES ends up being for these pieces though. I can't imagine that there is actually going to be 999 of the DXS floating out there, plus all of the other versions when they had so little of the Big Chaps available.

I would say 95% of collectors out there are not going to get this so it's a very small % of us who are actually 1) able to afford it and 2) able to fit it in our collections.
