Sideshow and SDCC 2022?

Realistically I don't think Sideshow is interested in making DC PFs of lesser known characters. Maybe they'll prove me wrong.

It’s just harder to sell lesser known characters as the prices go up. I was hoping to have a wide range of DC characters at least from Tweeterhead but 1/6 now are $500+ with shipping and taxes.

Was Silver Surfer a SDCC reveal? The events were all looking the same for a while, I can?t remember what is what. That and Symbiote Spidey I think? All I definitely remember is Grogu getting a whole room to himself. And a lot of toys. A whole lot of toys.

Agree Peedi. We try to talk ourselves into SSC making statues of new characters and what we end up getting are more character retreads every year. If I did speculate, my guess is we will see retreads of Hulk, Poison Ivy, Batman, Joker, and Wolverine.

Yep, I'm thinking a new Sonja and a new Ivy at least. I don't mind repeats if it is a character who hasn't been done in a long time (like Spider-Woman) or whose original statue was horrible (also like Spider-Woman).

I seem to recall overall them doing more PF's, but maybe i'm wrong, but just looking at the list, the Crow PF is the only Undone character, everything else is rehash.

The Crow PF doesn't even have an ES yet which is interesting. Its likely going to be huge, which is not bad for a non Marvel/DC character/starwars character.

Those 3 are going to be a hard sell for SS to make. I'd likely buy Azrael tho to go along with the Bat-Family but i could take or leave him compared to the others.

That's part of the reason folks go custom, but even then Penguin/Riddler have had customs, and they don't even have that large of an ES compared to others. But i'd definitely would want a sideshow Two-Face, Penguin, Nightwing, Riddler myself.

I don't think we will get another Wolverine yet unless its a X-force variant. The rest for sure will likely get done before end of year.

It does suck tho, I just wish they introduced some made to order concepts. If side show is listening

Here are 3-4 characters, we will make them if we get enough PO's for 500. Those that don't get made will be shelved or scrapped, and include concept art. If we get over 1k for one character then we will keep the window open for a longer time.

If your character is chosen you will have to deposit a non refundable deposit of 100-200 bucks, or heck half the cost of the statue. Also understanding these may take a slightly longer time.

That way for the fans to be in on some of the decisions and have it done once a year.

It shouldn't, since Marvel never had any say there.
