Unfortunately, I believe that may be necessary.......

The prototype is photographed in a studio environment. Mark 85 bust had flat paint on his gold shoulders. And both Mark 50 and 85 have flat paint in the faceplate.

I have the Mark 50 bust, and I was never truly happy with the gold paint app.

Honestly I think the best gold paint app in recent memory was Sideshow's Mark 3 bust. Who would've thunk....

I didn't think that was paint... I thought it was actually metal...?

It was probably too reflective to be accurate, but I liked it. I'd take that over all the other gold paint jobs too.

It's a very cool piece, but geeze, how do you not match the proto paint on this for this much money? I much prefer the more shiny red like my CM IM over this dull matte look. It doesn't make it look like plastic in most parts, but it just doesn't look like what we see on film. I can't believe that one guy had the balls to just leave it unattended standing by itself. That could've been disastrous . Now that I know it takes 4 people to put one of these together, I'll stick with 1/2 or 1/3.

For real, you have to assemble a small army to unbox and assemble, and same if you want to move it afterwards.

I know. I was waiting for it to tip over. Obviously I knew it was okay given the videos release. I just wanted to see it sway a bit, before one of them caught it.

And then when I was watching Art’s video, I was wondering if they were going to do the same thing as well. Thankfully one guy stayed with it. Just seemed kind of irresponsible given the price of the piece.

This thing must be heavy as hell. 3-4 guys lifting it? This is like moving a piano.
