Thanky you

Small update on 3D printing with the Elegoo Saturn 2

I didn't do any test prints and went straight into the statue production with settings from YouTube videos.
My model is Dejah Thoris in 1/4 scale by Yan-H

My first print didn't work because the resin on the FEP film was exposed.

This is my second print.
It's not perfect yet, but at least something has been printed this time.

The earring is missing on the left ear

And here there was a problem in the chest.

I think that's because the supporters are missing.

Anyway, the details are great

Yeah, it takes his time. I have printed her hair 4 times. body 2x, head 2x, chest 2x

But now Dejah is printed

The details are awesome

Now I just have to sand the whole thing and build it together, then it's finally time to paint.

Nice!

i too tried to graduate into the 3D sculpting and printing world after doing everything old school when I used to build and customize statues...got and started teaching myself Z Brush and was even eyeing that $3,500 Form Labs 3D printer....but yep....the lack of time told me to quit entirely

This is a pity.

Z-Brush is the next level because I want a Samurai Harley to go with my Ivy
But I'll give myself plenty of time for that.

Oh, I think we have a misunderstanding.
Sculpting with ZBrush is the future. My current level is I buy STL files and print them.
As I wrote in the post above is Dejah Thoris in 1/4 scale by Yan-H. You can buy the file on cgtrader.com.
