Thanks! I actually prefer the face sculpt on the bust, but wanted the full-size.
Yeah, I took some time away from statue photography last year. Just needed a break and some time to think about a few things. These two photos were from this year, but honestly just forgot to post here.
Should have something new mid/late April. We'll see if I can maintain the rest of this year or not.

Havok and Polaris are both my 2nd favorite X-Men (2nd only to Jean Grey) and I still think are still terribly underused. It seems that when they are used that either one or the other are having a mental breakdown. Polaris has been portrayed in a very positive light but Havok once again swooning over Madeline Pryor is a rehash of a storyline that ended a long time ago.
Anyway looking forward to more pics

I completely agree, especially on the mental breakdown part. With Havok, it's like they don't want him to be a copy of Scott, but no one seems to be able to make Alex a stable leader, but still be interesting in his own right.

Maybe the end of this year. I'll see how many new pieces there are and then figure out if there is enough to warrant another book, but I think I'm almost there.

A.I.M. - Protect the Portal
A.I.M. - Protect the Portal by Blindzider Photography, on Flickr
I'm very excited for this photo because I used a different technique that?s frequently used by a lot of Toy Photographers. Instead of assembling layers of photos on a computer, they use a screen (or print) of a background, setup the figures and capture everything in camera.
I've been wanting to try this method because it is much simpler and faster, but it also adds some ?natural? depth of field which just helps to add drama to the photo.
