Frickin dope, isn't it? Apparently there were rumors about this scene ever since ROTJ was released, but it wasn't until 2010 where it was revealed at Star Wars Celebration, and announced it would be on the upcoming Blu-ray release. Of course Luke in the cave is great, but I also dig Vader reaching out to him...just when you thought James Earl Jones' voice couldn't get any lower...Luuuuuke

Nope, pretty sure deleted scenes like this are only shown in bonus featurettes.

Shadows Of Tatooine (Canvas, by Raymond Swanland)

So stoked, I had been searching for my grail of art prints for several years, and it's finally here! 🤩 The art was originally done back in 2008, but I decided to take a long shot and message the artist on Facebook, and about 6 weeks later he ended up replying, said he found two artist proof canvas copies in his storage, so he had it framed and it arrived yesterday. He also included a cool little sketch of the Falcon

The picture is fantastic.
I think it is the best Star Wars picture I have ever seen.
The way the artist arranged and drew Han and Chewbacca is great

Yeah man, and it has such a cool mood, the interplay between light and shadow underneath that arch. I also noticed the wind is blowing Han & Chewie's hair in the same direction as the smoke is drifting from Han's blaster and whatever droid he just shot up.

Thanks Shoo, I definitely feel fortunate, it was quite a thrill to finally land this piece. I actually got the idea from another collector who had also contacted the artist to get the same exact print after searching high and low.
