360? or PS3? I'm torn...
Well, guys. I don't know what to get...a ps3 or a 360...any reasons why I should go with one or the other?....I don't know what to get....Anyone who has a PS3 already please fill me in on what I'm missing.....Any one with a 360 feel free to do the same...please...thanks

I would go with the 360. It's dashboard is far more advanced than the PS3 - while sony had more time to match it, even steal ideas and upgrade them. So far the exclusive titles are more apealing on 360 (imo). Even the games that are not exclusive, for instance Call of duty 3, perform better on 360 (surprisingly since on paper PS3 is supposed to be slightly more powerful).

In short, the only reason so far for me to still buy a PS3 would be Metal gear 4, and chances are it will not stay exclusive to PS3 so...

All other aspects (price, game library, online functions, dashboard...) so far are superior on 360.

This is all IMO ofcourse, but know that I am not a sony or microsoft "fanboy" but a gamesfreak in general. On one hand I am hoping sony wont give me a reason to buy a PS3, saves me money, but on the other hand if they DO give me a reason that would mean all the more joy to me.

go with the 360 it does everything the ps3 can, only better and cheaper

I just got me a 360 and i love it. I can care less about that Blue-Ray tech on the PS3.
And like El Diablo said... It's cheaper too!

...and another imo important reason: the controller!

Sony has, except for the motion sensing feature, not changed a single thing about there controller. Although it was a most excellent controller back in the PS2 days, nowadays fps'ers are very common and popular on consoles. Why oh why sony havent reacted to this and came out with the same controller is beyond me. You could "manage" playing a fps'er with that controller, but imo managing doesnt cut it anymore. Especialy if you know that the old xbox controller was designed with fps'ers in mind, and is now perfectioned (is that a word?) with the 360 version.

I was very sad when sony announced the (same) controller after the initial ugly boomerang thing since I was planning (couple years ago) on buying a PS3 and was looking forward to playing fps'ers. Now I'm not so much bothered anymore. The controller will do for MGS4 and that's all I would buy it for but like I said, it probably wont stay exclusive.

Also worth mentioning, sony left out the rumble feature on the PS3 controller.

Get the Wii and 360... wait for the PS3 until Next Summer... when there should be some decent games out for it...
