Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

So does that mean all revisits will have a base with country of origin influence?

This was sculpted by Jonathon Reilly.

Yes , the current plan is to give all the reboot characters a museum style black base with some characteristics of their home country.

So they will fit in with the original line, but still be unique.

Sorry CBG, but I've got to disagree Big Time. The Hollywood collectibles 1/3 Ryu is one of the worst statues I've ever seen in my life.

It literally appears to be sculpted out of dough. Probably playdough.

The feet, clothes, face, and basically everything on it look like a child sculpted it. For those who haven't seen it... I'm not exaggerating. His lips are also droopy on one side.

Plus he resembles a Man from the Middle East more so than Asia. The rips in his sleeves and pants appear to have been cut by a cookie cutter.

And it's like $500.00+ for that hot mess.

I swear, if it was offered to me for FREE I'd respectfully decline the statue. Not kidding.

End rant, sorry, back to the very respectable PCS Ryu.

Btw I been a huge stickler for pose on gouken and chunli diorama, but Ryu's pose is fine. In shotokan karate, the front foot is off center from a straight line so you can pivot on it to do a reverse punch.

Or in Ryu's case, he can also throw a hadoken. This pose is really awesome. Man, I am sooooo getting this!

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I wish the face could be reworked....I'm not super stoked on it...I guess I'm more of an Alpha/Udon fan, but this face sculpt doesn't scream to me SF4 either...idk...it's possibly the eyes.

I see a japanese guy in a Gi...then RYU.
