I believe Spiderman was not the Exclusive as numerous people who had been collecting the Spideyverse line were upset when it was first mentioned that he would be EX, as he would become very difficult to obtain. XM considered that and altered their plans on making him an Exclusive.

You must be thinking about SS and Prime 1. XM releases have been about 4 - 6 months between time it was put up for PO to release...with the exception of a couple....like Ultimate Swordsman.

Never even paid attention to the zipper before you mentioned it. But now that you have brought it to light...I agree that the zipper around the collar can go. No need for it to be there. It doesn't bother me per se...but I can understand why others don't want it there.
Someone made mention of the portrait...and they need to see more...trust me...you will see more...lightning strikes how many times?  Or if anyone is a Commodores (damn I know I'm old now) fan, remember that song..."Once, Twice....***** times a lady!" I don't even think the portrait shown is the best one.

I do like my X-Men comic accurate, but I also like the unique elements XM uses. I definitely like this, but like everyone else, they need to rethink the zipper. The only way that makes sense is if the emblem is velcro-ed on.

The zipper doesn't bother me. Definitely doesn't look anywhere near as ----ty as Storm's crusty hooker boots.

I wonder, will they go for ghost rider flames or clear resin flames like old Phoenix
I am leaning more ghostrider, that again the flames on her arms would be epic clear
