She is up! I am not sure what to say . . . there are no pics of her in regular light, so to me in these pics, she just looks plain black . . . hmmm . . . I thought for sure, there would be colors of blue and purple in there, like in the comics. From these pics, she looks plain matte black. Maybe we need some pics in full light?

How disappointing! Teasing a black armor Aspen statue and then just having it be a repaint of the white armor, UGH. Would have been way better if the armor was redone like the actual black armor from the comics. That's what I've been waiting for ever since I saw it in the comic. I was excited but I'll be passing.

pass for me. only thing worth it is the LED base.
can't even see the details on the actual product well. the whole thing just looks painted black from the front view with all the black background and poor lighting.

What is the color of this armor ? It seems to me it is grey... are there some variation on the paint ? grey with purple ?

Unfortunately, according to Becky, this piece is ready to arrive through customs in a week or so.

So looks like as much as I'd love to get it, I just don't think I'd be able to swing it as it stands.

Really wished Aspen had given us more leadtime on the reveal to preorder.

Plus no option of a flex play.

If you look closely, their does seem to be a marbled effect on the armor. Can't really tell if its blue or purple though. I have both the Kiani and Grace EX's so this is a must buy for me.

..as i thought it would be. Boring.
The good thing is that i have more money for some custom painted kits and perhaps the ARH Valky.
But damn, so many disappointments lately. I thought i could get quite some good ones this year. But every statue i thought would be great didnt come close to my (high) expectations. Horrible Sideshow Vampirella which i thought could become the best of, bad first pics of the Magdalena by CS Moore (which i thought it could become a grail.. but lets wait).. and some more i dont mention here.

Lets hope final results become better and some great unexpected ones appear.

P.S: the new base rocks anyway !!
But the paintup: even with a special black colour. Just painting it "black": nope!
Boring one, which wont catch any sight next to other good statues.
