Contagion 7/10. Interesting movie from Sodrbergh shot in a semi-documentary style. It's also quite a unique movie in that it has three actresses who have won best actress Oscar.

You should check out the original Ringu. The American version was ridiculous.

Journey 2: 7/10 Just a lot of fun. Geared more towards kids, but my little brother loved it (big brothers, big sisters). He is a big Rock fan, and loved the movie. Saw it in 2d

I liked the American version better although I have to admit before I had seen either one when I heard the premise of the movie I thought it would have to be the most retarded thing ever.
I can't speak for anyone else but I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. I saw the American one first so maybe that took away from when I saw Ringu. Also I had to read subtitles in the version of Ringu I saw, which also probably took away some of the enjoyment.

Drive 5/10
It was ok but I really don't see the high rating a lot of you guys did. I can't post spoilers but the ending is downright retarded and there are a hundred things he could have done that would have made more sense.
Plus the baby goose in skinny jeans, clown shoes, and a feminine scorpion jacket just made it even sillier from the get go.

Jackie Brown - 9/10
Quentin Tarantino's most underrated film IMO. Probably because its so much smaller and quieter than most of his efforts. Some find Jackie Brown to be dull and ponderous but I love the deliberate, calm, calculated feel of the film. More of a focused, layered character study than the nonlinear "in your face" narrative we're accustomed to seeing from him, but in classic Tarantino fashion the dialog is tight, the soundtrack immersive and the performances great. Particularly Robert Forster.
