Nice statue. But not a good looking Sagat. Just my opinion.
I partially agree with you. I actually think this would have been better in the PCS 1/4 line then the upcoming Sagat, with just a few minor touch ups to the sculpt, yes this would have been a definitive Sagat for me. I own the figure, statue and soon the 1/4 statue and 1:1 bust

I have this statue. I love it and will probably keep it. Pretty sure whatever John and Jerry produce will be better though.

Anyway does anyone know how tall Sagat is going to be? I mean Guile is frickin huge as we all know.

It will just weird me out is Sagat is smaller than Guile....

I am not a fan of this piece and I am sure Johns PCS take will be far superior

That SOTA Sagat is a tweaked version of Jerry's original Sagat figure. (Jerry, for those that may not know, was the original founder/owner of SOTA Toys). From what I understand, their rotocast Sagat was a similar attempt to cash in on Jerry's design.

Thanks. I thought that might be the case - especially with the oversized hands. I was trying to find information on it.

No problem. I seem to remember Jerry commenting on the SOTA statue a while ago, actually. Someone definitely asked him a question about it. If only I could find the post.

Sota's version of Sagat looks ok...kinda rough around the edges, and some other minor issues but it gives it that rustic look...

Red and Blue shorts? SDCC? Me too Very happy with it.

It looks a lot like Jerry's work the more I look at it. The details in the muscles including popping veins. The grimacing face.

It also looks like the Sagat in the PCS dio.

I think as mentioned earlier this is Jerry's design (when at Sota) but tweaked a little.
