It is with great sadness that I have been advised that the DC Collection will end at 120 and the Marvel Collection will end at 200.
I was told that the decision was purely a marketing one.
I am gutted and disappointed beyond words. To me - both collections were getting into the realm of characters which most collections never seem to get to and tackling characters that so needed the attention.
I want to thank everyone on the forum who supported the collection - from the members to the staff members

At least I got 120 awesome characters (plus specials).
And it will save me a lot of money

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Wow. I hate to hear this but understand that EM has to make money here. I prefer the lead and I'd pay more for these figures but if they keep the same scale and attention to detail, I'm in for resin figurines.
In my note to them, I also mentioned the fact that both collections are pretty much into the B, C, and D-list characters and while I, like EM, hate the idea of repaints...I'd gladly take a gray and blue Batman or red Mary Marvel if it keeps the line afloat!
For more sales - go back to the well EM!!! Give some A-list repaints mixed in with new, "fan popular" C-listers. I think it could work!! Hell, I'll even pay up front now for the next 20. Who's with me??

So no more lead, huh? Still got alot of cool pieces out of them in this run and the chess pieces are a great addition.

Word is that Giganta will be made from lead. Also Swamp-Thing may have a lead core.
Anyone want to break theirs apart to verify this? He is not out here in the US yet. But I would like to know if he has lead or not.
