Here's my finished Avengers vs X-Men Jam Piece (with a decent photo)

So now that this Jam is done, what did I do? Start another. Here's a quick in progress photo after the first con.

Wolverine - David Yardin
Robin - Jin Chan
Cyclops - Jeffrey 'Chamba' Cruz
Harvey Pekar - Bruce Mustad
Wonder Woman - Nicola Scott
Nightwing - Gee Hale
Punisher - Paul Mason

This will be my first Jam piece. The layout and Cap are by Robert Atkins. I'm going to be taking it to the show formerly known as Mid-Ohio Con. With a non-Jam piece I would pre-arrange everything but with this I'm just going to take it to the show and see what happens. I was just wondering what my expectations should be as far as how willing an artist will be to work on this when I just show up at their table with it.

Great piece and great start! I've found most artists to be willing to contribute to jams. Every now and then you get a few who aren't into it - not sure why as I'd find these to be easier work since the layouts are there.

You probably want to stick with artists that do their commissions with inks for this piece. Also I would keep in mind that you should have room to negotiate on their standard prices since their contributions shouldn't warrant the same price as a standalone full figure.

Good luck at the con!

That's definitely gonna look pretty sweet. The Batman and Hulk layouts seem a bit tighter than the others though.

nice start

I agree about the layouts. I plan to do a jam along these lines at some point and will really want the layout to be very loose and generic. Too tight and I am afraid the artist might not feel as free to create the character in their pure style and would follow the prelim layout too much
